I think I forgot to mention that I ran my first red light on Friday night. I'm praying there wasn't a camera. But anyways, yesterday I attended Brooke's ward. I guess every Sunday her and Devyn do this little ritual in the bathroom where they take a mirror picture and try and get one of Devyn in mid-air. I'm actually really honored that I got to take part in their weekly mirror selfie.
So I come home from school today and first thing I see is this hyperactive skinny little dog, and I'm thinking, what the heck? Did we get a new dog? I thought maybe my parents purchased a female dog for my dog Max to 'mate' with. But of course my dreams are crushed and I find out that some people lost their dog and we picked it up. Her name was Miranda and I fell in love during the twenty minutes we had together.
So I decided to go to Pei Wei and buy myself some Lo Mein. (that's just a fancy term for chow mein)
And when I was waiting for my take out, I cracked open a fortune cookie:
I'm kind of superstitious when it comes to fortune cookies and I whole heartedly believe that the things written on them aren't just 'coincidences'. I know that this totally pertains to my present life and that I needed to hear that. Thank you, tiny little paper for those encouraging words.
Like I said, I was gone for about twenty minutes. I kind of starting having a mini heart attack when I come back cause I don't see Miranda. Then I remembered I left the garage door open and it all went downhill from there. HOW DO YOU LOOSE A LOST DOG????
But all is good because then I found out that the dog turned out to be just my neighbor's and they already came and picked it up.
